After traveling with us to all our diplomatic posts for 15 years our dog was very anxious when the suitcases came out. One adult leaving was okay, two was trouble. Sometimes my mom would walk out to the cab with my dad and our dog would look at me and any remaining siblings with a look that could only mean, "$!!, you three, I'm drinking sludge water and getting 10 minute walks for 2 weeks."
