First Signs

Filed under: Nature, Photography, Quotation — jonathanfoust @ 10:55 am

It’s coming.  The Fall.  I love this coming season and I find myself already missing the summer, which is kind of ridiculous, as it’s gorgeous out right now.  The quote below says it all when it comes to all the seasons we live through.

The first leaves in transition.

The first leaves in transition.

“What is the secret to your serenity?,” asks the student.

“Wholehearted cooperation with the inevitable,” said the Master.

  1. I too have been very aware that Fall is approaching…. and tough it is my favorite season I understand the feeling of sadness at the end of Summer 2009 – Since I have been practicing meditation I have been much more in touch with “the moments” of life that are here and then gone. It has made me much more grateful for the moments I have but I struggle too and probably always will with getting lost in self-absorbtion.When I stay out of Kayeville (population 1 – 🙂 ) which is what I call when I am in head life becomes a struggle and then I am reminded to breathe and return to the present moment where I am safe and well. Thanks for all your photos and thoughts you share I get a lot out of them.
I hope to see you soon but until then Be well, be safe.

    • Thank you for the kind words, Kaye. May there be more seen and felt moments as this life rolls on!
